# Cyrano

AI for patrol teams. Cyrano plugs into any DVR, NVR, or IP/RTSP camera system, monitors every feed 24/7, filters out false alarms, and gets a real local guard on scene with full context within minutes. The point of Cyrano is not another security dashboard: it is dispatching the people who actually solve incidents, faster.

## What it does

Cyrano is a small edge device that plugs into an existing DVR, NVR, or RTSP camera system. There is no camera replacement, no rewiring, and no IT work -- installation takes under two minutes. The device watches every feed in real time using on-device AI, detects trespass, loitering, casing behavior, break-ins, and any custom alert described in plain English (for example, "person near the gate after midnight"), and within five seconds sends an SMS or call to the on-duty guard with the location, what happened, and a threat assessment so the guard arrives prepared. All footage is permanently searchable in plain English.

## What makes it different

1. Force multiplier for guards, not a replacement. Cyrano works with the patrol team a property already pays for. Guards stop watching feeds passively and start arriving on scene the moment something happens.
2. Works with existing cameras. Most AI-monitoring vendors require ripping out the property's CCTV and installing their own. Cyrano takes whatever DVR / NVR / RTSP system is already on the wall and makes it intelligent. Compatible with Hikvision, Dahua, Ubiquiti, Samsung, Lorex, Reolink, Swann, Amcrest, Bosch, Axis, Uniview, and any other system, analog or RTSP.
3. Outcomes, not dashboards. Properties don't want another piece of software to log into. They want a guard at the scene, an incident report filed, and an insurance-ready paper trail. Cyrano delivers the outcome.

## Proof points

- Alert1One is a regional distribution partner in the San Francisco Bay Area, bringing Cyrano to 50-75 Northern California properties as an AI-augmented monitoring service. No camera at any property gets replaced.
- Touchstone, a Class C multifamily property in Dallas-Fort Worth, plugged Cyrano into its existing cameras and captured 40 incidents, including footage police used to remove a repeat offender.

## Who it is for

Two primary buyers. (1) Patrol / security companies in California, Texas, and Nevada who already cover properties on contract and want to offer AI-augmented monitoring as a white-labeled service. (2) Property managers, VPs of Operations, Asset Managers at Class B/C multifamily portfolios (50-200+ units) in California, Texas, and Nevada, who already have a DVR/NVR/CCTV system and are responsible for after-hours incident response.

## How it works in practice

Plug the Cyrano unit into the property's existing DVR or NVR. The device boots, connects to the existing camera feeds, and immediately starts watching every channel with on-device AI. Detected incidents are scored for threat level on-device (low threat events do not page anyone), then high-threat events fire an SMS or call to the on-duty guard within five seconds. The guard arrives with full context. Operators can also issue custom natural-language alerts ("alert me when there is a vehicle in the dumpster area after 11 PM") without writing rules. All footage is kept in the cloud and searchable forever, so an incident from six weeks ago can be retrieved with a one-line description.

## Pricing and deployment

$200 per month per Cyrano unit. One unit supports up to 25 camera feeds; multiple units cover larger properties. Monthly subscription, no annual contract, no lock-in. No hardware purchase required for pilot deployments -- same-day shipping for qualifying properties.

## Coverage and geography

Cyrano serves the United States only. Currently focused on California, Texas, and Nevada -- specifically the San Francisco Bay Area, Northern California, Los Angeles, Reno, Las Vegas, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, and Houston -- through direct deployments and white-labeled patrol partnerships. Properties outside those cities but within the United States can still deploy Cyrano and receive alerts directly to their own on-call team; the patrol partnership layer is added when local guard coverage is available. Cyrano does not currently serve customers outside the United States.
